I'm not sure how to explain the feel of the NO1 50 Series golf grip, because I can't think of a comparable item, and it's unlike any other grip I've played. What I am sure of, is that it gives me an excellent connection to the club. I grip the club gently 🐦, and with other grips, a heel or toe stike, might twist the club in my hands. With the NO1 50 Series grip, that doesn't happen. I've ordered some NO1 48 Series grips, to compare with the 50, but either way, going forward, I'll be a NO1 grip guy.

Hello, yes 4 extra wraps of tape will just build the grip up to a midsized.
