The feel of the Axiom shaft is really what the appeal of graphite shafts has to offer. I get away with better outcomes from shots that do not get centered up on the face, and I also don't get the harsh feel of a steel shaft. I have played the Axiom, and the MMT shafts, so I don't have a whole lot of experience with graphite beyond those two, but Axiom will go into all of my irons.
Unfortunately Dick's has cheapened this ball to such a state that it isn't worth considering to put into play anymore.
Callaway designed the Gamer as a 3 piece urethane budget ball that was darn good.
Dick's has destroyed this once flagship product of the Top flite line.
Top flite has been set back 30 years.

I ordered the 105 gram DG shafts thinking they would be a fit for me and i wanted to try a lighter shaft. I loved the feel but they were too light. I will have to turn around and sell them on ebay but I already ordered the normal weighted TTDG I play because the transaction was so smooth and the owner spent some time with me on the phone to discuss different shafts for my irons. As a +2 I have a good idea of what works for me and he was great to talk to. I even ordered some golf building supplies for when I tinker with clubs!!
First time doing a shaft replacement as I wanted to change the look of my 2010 Monterey. Shaft fits perfectly and I trimmed it to my original 34” length. It looks great with my black grip + black paint fill and have already been getting compliments.
I hope the black coating holds up with normal wear and tear - but no concerns about that so far. Would buy again.
